The CPI R&D team continues to push the boundaries with its proactive approach to the research and development of new and improved materials. This vast depth of knowledge and focus on materials technology is now enhanced by FCP’s materials technology. This has created a wider scope for the development of new materials and designs, in the search for improved reliability and performance of reciprocating compressors. These capabilities and capacity have also been increased with the additional blending, molding and production of materials on a wider global scale.

CPI’s materials technology is further advanced by Robix in the UK, with high-tech polymers and other diverse materials capabilities, including processes such as injection and transfer molding and extrusion. This further widens the scope for more novel material developments, and allows diversification into other products and industrial applications.
