Description of Principle Responsibilities and Duties


• Receives checks, stores incoming materials, products, and equipment
• Performs incoming inspection of goods for proper quantity, quality, and places goods in stockroom or delivers them to proper area
• Responsible for the proper maintenance of finished parts, stockroom, receipt ,and storage of parts from production, and the assembling of parts into sets/kits, packages and tags as required
• Responsible for the packaging, labeling transactions of various products for shipment insuring the proper quantity of required parts
• Responsible for maintenance of storeroom
• Prepares and issues materials to production
• Receives and stores surplus material returned from production
• Provides customer service to walk in customers
• Reviews and updates purchase orders on a daily basis
• Checks order status and reports incoming orders to customers as they arrive
• Delivers goods to customers as they arrive when needed
• Prepares ,reviews, and enters orders and quotations
• Responds to general correspondence and maintains adequate records of correspondences sent and received
• Coordinates and cooperates with other departments (i.e. Engineering, Accounting, Materials, etc)
• Supplies information to sales representatives concerning customer activities

Specific Requirements:

• Continuous standing and lifting of 5 to 35 pounds
• Must be able to follow routine procedures
• Must be able to use complex equipment requiring continuous attention
• Must be able to make minor decisions.
• Must have demonstrated good job performance and good attitude
• Must be a team player
• Must have Warehouse Distribution and Inventory Support Experience
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to converse and handle tense situations with tact
• Possess good oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Educational Requirements:

•High School Diploma or GED

Required Work Experience:

•Two to five years experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving, order entering, and purchasing
